Fuel Surcharge
In line with other operators in our industry, and as a direct result of the volatile price of aviation fuel, we are forced to introduce a fuel surcharge.
The surcharge is based on the monthly average spot prices for Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel for the U.S Gulf Coast area, as published by the US Department of Energy.
There is a 1 month delay in the application of the index. For example, in any year the monthly average price for fuel in June is used to determine the applicable surcharge in August. This is due to the release dates of the data.
Box On Couriers reserves the right to change the fuel surcharge index and table with or without notice. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at Box On Courier’s sole discretion.
